Florida DUI Statistics

Our Florida DUI Statistics infographic provides information about alcohol-related accidents involving at least one motor vehicle, various details about DUI-related fatalities, what areas and age groups are more likely to have alcohol-related accidents, and other associated information. The data collected shows a decrease in DUIs in Florida (year over year) and the infographic explains why that may be.

It’s important to keep an eye on DUI statistics—not only because driving under the influence of alcohol (or other drugs) puts everyone on the road in danger, but also because it’s illegal to drive in Florida with a blood alcohol limit of 0.08 percent or higher, and anyone caught driving under the influence by law enforcement will face serious criminal charges that (if they’re convicted) will stay on their record for the rest of their lives.

The information in this infographic is based on data from the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FHSMV).
