Vaping vs Smoking and its Implications for Product Labelling
We all know smoking is bad for you but we’ve taken a look into what’s NOT on the label. We looked into the cost of each and compared the two. Financially an average smoker can save a fortune and the environmental cost is a lot more than you might think too, the discarded ends may be small but there are trillions of them so it soon mounts up.
We also list some of the substances found in tobacco smoke, we’re sure you’ll be horrified by some of the stuff in there.
Vaping refill bottles need to be labelled with a sticker with information on it that relates to its ingredients and nicotine content.
Warning images need also to be present, harmful for lower concentrations and toxic for higher ones, this is to protect the user when refilling the e-cigarette and to comply with the Tobacco Products Directive and the Classification, Labelling and Packaging guidelines.
