Georgia competed in Paris from 26 July to 11 August 2024, its eighth consecutive Summer Games since independence [1]. It won 3 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze, 7 medals in all, and ranked 24th in the medal table [1]. That matches the medal count on the graphic.
The golds came from Lasha Bekauri in judo (men’s 90 kg), Geno Petriashvili in wrestling (men’s freestyle 125 kg) and Lasha Talakhadze in weightlifting (men’s +102 kg) [1]. Tato Grigalashvili and Ilia Sulamanidze took judo silvers, Givi Matcharashvili a wrestling silver, and Lasha Guruli boxing bronze [1].
