Personal trainer salary are dependent on the the following factors: What type of gymnasium the personal trainer works at, how much experience they have working as a personal trainer, whether or not they are specialized in any one area of training, what original personal training certification they hold and where in the world they are doing personal training. Currently, the highest paid personal trainers are located in the United States. A lot of these personal trainers are working with athletes, actors or singers that have an abundance of extra money. The average personal trainer will make approximately $15-$20 per hour. This is especially true if they are starting out working as a commercial gym such as 24 hour fitness, lifetime fitness, crunch fitness, anytime fitness or any other large commercial fitness chain. Some of the recommendations I have two increase one salary is to start selling training packages, do group exercise fitness training, specialize as a strength and conditioning coach or corrective exercise specialist.
