What is Outbound Marketing?

Inbound marketing created a tremendous buzz across the industry spectrum. It has become so popular that many entrepreneurs have started to believe that outbound is dead and have abandoned the process altogether. Even thought startups refrain from trying it in at first, outbound still has a vital role in marketing.

Inbound marketing is basically focused on providing value by publishing relevant and quality content to attract inbound traffic towards the company and product naturally. It’s educational and barely promotional. On the contrary, outbound marketing aims to reach as many possible buyers as possible.

Since plenty of customers these days have a short attention span, many businessmen and marketers completely switched to inbound marketing. Inbound marketing is a great marketing approach for modern buyers who usually do their own research before contacting the company.

Businesses don’t have to force prospects to sit through a traditional sales pitch anymore. Rather than forcing their message on people who are probably not interested, potential customers would be looking for them. In addition, inbound marketing is a less expensive approach than outbound.

However, it’s foolish for any organization to abandon outbound marketing altogether in favor of inbound marketing. Each marketing strategy has its own sets of advantages and disadvantages.

Determine if Outbound Marketing is the best fit for your business as this infographic by Landau Consulting shows everything you need to know about it.
